How to Book?

To book a photography session with us, please visit our Services Page and follow the provided instructions.

Booking Fees?

We require a full deposit of your session to secure your photography session. The fee amount and payment details will be discussed during the booking process and sent to you via email invoice.

Cancellation and Rescheduling?

Our Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy aims to provide a fair and efficient framework for both our clients and our business. We require cancellations to be made a minimum of 78-24 hours in advance of a scheduled session to allow us sufficient time to reassign the slot to another client. Cancellations made within this time frame will not incur any fees. However, cancellations within 78 hours of the scheduled session will result in a 50% session fee charge. We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, but this policy ensures that we can maintain our commitment to all clients and continue to deliver the highest quality of service. Your understanding and cooperation in adhering to this policy are greatly appreciated, as it helps us maintain a smooth and fair scheduling process for all. Rules of Conduct

Professional Behaviour

1. Respect and Cooperation: All clients and participants are expected to treat our photographers and staff with respect and courtesy. Cooperation and a positive attitude contribute to the quality of the final results.

2. Promptness: Please arrive at the scheduled session location on time. Punctuality is essential to make the most of the allocated session time.

3. Follow Photographer's Directions: During the session, follow the photographer's directions and poses as closely as possible to achieve the best results. Feel free to communicate your preferences, ideas, or concerns with the photographer.

Dress and Appearance

1. Wardrobe Choices: Choose appropriate clothing that complements the theme or style of the photography session. Discuss wardrobe options with the photographer before the session if needed.

2. Hair and Makeup: If required, ensure that hair and makeup are well-prepared before the session begins. If you need professional hair and makeup services, please arrange for these in advance.

Props and Accessories

1. Personal Props: Feel free to bring personal props or accessories that you'd like to include in the session, but check with the photographer beforehand to ensure they fit with the planned shots.

Children and Pets

1. Child and Pet Behaviour: For family and pet photography, parents and pet owners are responsible for ensuring that their children or pets are well-behaved and safely managed during the session.

2. Supervision: A guardian must accompany and supervise minors throughout the session.

Privacy and Consent

1. Privacy and Consent: Respect the privacy and consent of all participants in the session. Obtain permission from all individuals appearing in the photos for their likeness to be used, as needed.

2. Sharing and Social Media: If you plan to share the session photos on social media, please credit Galaxy Studios when possible and obtain any necessary permissions.

Safety

1. Safety Guidelines: Follow all safety instructions provided by our photographers and staff during the session to ensure the well-being of everyone involved.

Prohibited Conduct

1. Inappropriate Behaviour: Any form of inappropriate behavior, harassment, or any action that could jeopardize the safety, comfort, or integrity of the photography session or Galaxy Studios staff is strictly prohibited.

Photography Locations?

We can conduct photography sessions at various locations, depending on your preferences and package. Additional fees may apply for sessions held outside our Studio location.

• For destinations within Toronto, including York, Etobicoke, North York, and Scarborough, the travel fee is $0.

• If your destination is in Vaughan, Mississauga, Markham, Richmond Hill, Pickering, Ajax, Woodbridge, Milton, Oakville, Bolton, Newmarket, Bradford (East & West Gwillimbury), Brampton, or Burlington, the travel fee is $80.

• For journeys to Burlington, Hamilton, Uxbridge, Halton Hills, Orangeville, Caledon, or Peterborough, the travel fee is $125.

• If we're heading to St. Catharines, Niagara Falls, Brantford, Kitchener, Guelph, Elora, Innisfil, Barrie, or other areas outside the previous categories, the travel fee is $200.

 

Photo Delivery and Usage?

Photo Delivery

We will deliver your edited photos within 1-6 week timeline after the photography session. Each photography service has it own specific timeline for delivery. This can be reviewed in the "READ MORE" on each service we provide on our Service page.

Copyright and Usage

In this Galaxy Studios Toronto; Copyright Agreement, the studio, photographer & customer jointly hold all copyright privileges to the photos, unless a Photo Release Form is not signed, and the customer explicitly expresses their disinterest in granting the studio/photographer the rights to use the photos for promotional purposes. The studio/photographer will always respect the customer's wishes in this matter. However, if the Photo Release Form is signed, all parties will have equal ownership, with a 50/50 split of the copyrights to the photos. The studio may use them for promotional use.

We collect and utilize personal information provided by Users exclusively for the purpose of delivering our photography services and maintaining communication. We employ measures to secure personal information and do not share it with third parties, except as required by law or with Users' consent. We may use photos taken during sessions for promotional and portfolio purposes. Users have the right to access, correct, or request the removal of their personal data. This policy is subject to occasional updates, with any changes posted on our website for User awareness.
